FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance are reservations available?
Reservations are released on the 1st of each month at 12pm for the following month. For example, July reservations become available on June 1 at noon.
What allergies and dietary restrictions can you accommodate?
We do our best to accommodate many dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, peanut allergies, shellfish-free, and fin fish-free. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate allium allergies, cooked alcohol or cooking oil allergies, or multiple complex combinations. Please note any allergies or restrictions in the "Special Requests" section when booking. If you’re unsure, feel free to email or call us before your visit.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have a dress code. You’re welcome to join us in whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Where can I find parking?
We do not offer valet service or designated parking, but there is ample free street parking nearby. Seattle traffic can be unpredictable, so we recommend giving yourself a little extra time to arrive.
Do you accept large parties?
Reservations for up to 6 guests can be made online. For larger groups, we accept parties up to 8 on Fridays and Saturdays, and up to 12 on Tuesdays through Thursdays. These must be booked directly through reservations@atomaseattle.com.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes! We hold bar and solarium seats nightly for walk-ins. If we’re full when you arrive, we’re happy to add you to our waitlist.
Is there waiting space if I arrive early?
Our waiting area is very limited and our bar is small, especially on weekends. We kindly suggest arriving right at your reservation time. If you arrive a few minutes early, we’ll do our best to seat you as soon as possible, but arriving 30 minutes or more ahead is not recommended.
Can I take photos during my visit?
Photography is welcome, but we kindly ask that you avoid flash, video recording, or live streaming to respect the experience of fellow guests.
What is the atmosphere like at Atoma?
Atoma is known for its lively, vibrant energy, and it's part of what makes dining with us special. We play upbeat, vibrant music and aim to create a fun and engaging environment. Friday and Saturday evenings are our busiest times of the week, and between 6pm and 9pm, there is very little we can do in terms of overall noise control. If you prefer a quieter experience, we recommend visiting us early in the evening on a Tuesday or Wednesday. If someone in your party is hard of hearing, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to seat you at one of our quieter tables.
Are children welcome at Atoma?
Children are welcome at Atoma. Please note we do not offer child-specific accommodations such as booster seats, high chairs, a children’s menu, or changing tables. We also ask that children remain seated and respectful of the atmosphere during your visit. Please include children in your guest count for the evening and let us know in the “special requests” field while making your reservation that you have a guest under 21.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. Due to our limited seating, cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are subject to a $50 per person fee. This fee helps support our team who prepares for each service with care. You are welcome to transfer your reservation to a friend or family member if you cannot attend.. Changing the date is considered a cancellation. If given at least 24 hours' notice, we’ll try to rebook your table through our waitlist, and if successful, we’re happy to waive the fee as a one-time courtesy.
How does Atoma make celebrations special?
We believe a night at Atoma is a celebration on its own, and we love being part of your special moments. We’re happy to add a candle to any dessert ordered for a birthday. If you’d like to pre-arrange something extra, such as flowers, a champagne toast, or other thoughtful touches, you can explore options on our celebrations page.
Do you offer private dining?
Atoma offers a variety of private and semi-private event options to suit any occasion. You can book a full, private, restaurant buy-out for up to 56 guests, a semi-private partial buy-out for up to 22 guests, or a seasonal patio buy-out for up to 20 guests, perfect for enjoying the open-air atmosphere. Whether you're hosting a celebratory dinner, corporate event, or special occasion, we're here to create a memorable experience tailored to your needs. Inquire about your event here.
Are gift cards available?
Yes! Digital gift cards can be emailed or texted directly to the recipient. We also offer physical gift cards, which you can pick up during open hours or by scheduling a time by emailing us reservations@atomaseattle.com.
Can I bring my own wine?
We allow corkage for one bottle per table, as long as it’s not featured on our wine list. The fee is $40 for a 750ml bottle or $80 for a 1.5L.
Do you allow dogs on the patio?
For the health and safety of all our guests, we do not allow dogs on the patio, except for well behaved, certified, service animals or service dogs in training.
